I had won two tickets to a preview : Meet Joe Black. A film session in the beginning of spring bright... hadn't I better things to do? A little doubt, therefore, in me installing a few years ago, in the darkness, comfortable in this room. But, a little less than three hours later, I had to pull out of a dream, and returned to my home in the intrusive light of the day, the one that suddenly takes away all our the wings of the imagination and we fall back to earth. Bill Parrish (Anthony Hopkins), a magnate of the communication will celebrate its 65th anniversary. He has two daughters, adorable. Allison (Marcia Gay Harden), the eldest, devoted to her adored dad, and collecting what appears to be the crumbs of the love of father and Susan (Claire Forlani), the small favorite that dad called " Sweetheart ". Drew (Jake Weber), the fiance of Susan, is one of the right arms of Bill and Quince (Jeffrey Tambor) the husband of Allison, is a man of endearing, which criminalizes the friendliness and the thoughtfulness in the virtues family. The story can start and get into the passage the central character : Joe Black (Brad Pitt). Susan is going to meet by chance, take a coffee before going to work. En route to the big chill...
